It makes sense to me. I have noticed however that different people treat
the due date different ways and some would rather only have a due date that
can work as the time to start worrying about it to simplify how many
attributes they have to manage.

If the scripting I have been talking about were done the way I hope, it
would solve this problem also because people would be able to automate how
it behaves with their own way to entering things.
