Hey Steph,  
I think you missed understood the tool I was talking about.  I was asking 
this for the PocketMod printing function - a tool that prints a small book 
on a single sheet of paper.  I guess I am old fashioned enought that I 
prefer to have a piece of paper (and pen) in my pocket during the day with 
my ToDo list (I do not work behind a computer, and I am always leaving my 
mobile phone somewhere where I am not)

Anyways, when I print these, even if I have one tab/view open, and I have 
hidden the completed tasks, PocketMod still prints all my completed 
tasks.   I do not think that is useful

I also want to have a page with starred tasks only.  Since that is not a 
standard view, I want to know how to create my own lists views to print via 
PocketMod
