Hi Stephane,

Thank you for your reply. I am a very basic user of MLO and don't really
need all the bells and whistles. I don't use views. Not sure what is
meant by a flat list but I do use the default tree structure in the first
tab of MLO. I want to see my tasks always in the order i put them in. So
if I put in 3 tasks at different timings:

Task 1
Task 2
Task 3

and if I reorder them by using shift-alt-up/down-arrow keys on my PC to:

Task 2
Task 1
Task 3

then I always want to view them (on screen or in print) in that order until
I change the order again by using the shift-alt-up/down keys.

So I need total manual control over the order. I don't even need sorting -
seldom, if ever, do I sort. I think I may have created confusion by using
the word "sort" in the title. Apologies. So what I really want is
"consistent manual order". This does not happen when I print. The order
changes.

I'll experiment with what you have written and see how it goes.

Many thanks.

Mohan
