The issue was resolved in private message, but I'll post the answer here 
too: 

 It is possible to duplicate tasks (with subtasks and all assigned 
properties) on iOS: 

1. Multiselect tasks
2. Tap the "Copy" icon below (see Image1)
2. Select the task where you want to place the duplicates
3. Long-tap and select “Clipboard” (Image2)
