Hi, Simon. I assume that the view you are looking at is a hierarchical view that shows each task under its parents, grandparents, etc. Is that right? In a hierarchical view you can only sort the root items because anything more than that would confuse the hierarchical structure. Choose a different view that is not hierarchical, like Active Actions, and modify it to use computed-score. Note there is a command under Task>Advanced to sort the
subtasks under a given parent, but it doesn't work with
computed-score. Which is a good thing because you would have to
re-sort whenever computed-score changes, which is pretty much
constantly. Also, this is permanent, you can't put it back to the
original order. And if you are not careful you might sort your
whole database, which would totally obliterate your parent/child
structure. If you decide to try this out, be sure to take a good
backup of your file before you start so you can restore it if you
decide you are not happy with the result. -Dwight
