OK, for now, I created a Hierarchy Workspace, showing everything, and put it as the first tab (I am not sure that is necessary), and have all my other workspaces set to sync with the first tab. That way I can select any task in the task list workspace for a life area, and then click on the first tab to see that task in the full hierarchy. This might even be more useful what what I initially requested. I also have a TODAY workspace, showing only the tasks I starred for attention today, and an All Active Actions view, so I can see a simple full list of all possible choices. Cheers....
