I think in the case of moving tasks you could probably construct some kind
of macro that'll enclose the task caption in quotes and then append
"-totaskXYZ" (the archive folder in your case) and lastly press Alt+Enter,
and you can put a custom hotkey on that?
AutoHotKey would ofc be one of the most prevalent solutions, but likely
your keyboard already has macro functionality, maybe even
focused-window-sensitive ones?

However, just last week I found myself pruning many Star-Marks in my MLO
because many of those should've realistically been tagged goals which I
recently started incorporating in my workflows, and now I have a Starred
TREE view in which I only have my most frequently visited non-task entries
listed, like the folder about MLO in general, and whenever I wanna move
something I'll just use that view to navigate towards the subfolder the
task or note would belong to. Yes it's a little more overhead than a direct
hotkey, but it allows fast yet still granular moving and that serves me
well.

Hope I could help :)

Does anyone know if MLO has ability to assign a HOT KEY to automatically
move a task to set folder with 1 key press instead of having to rely on
CTRL+M, then select folder etc...?

For instance say I have folder ARCHIVE, I'd like to be able to press set
KEY and have it automatically move the task to this folder.

Also is there any means to setup to have task automatically move to set
folder "ARCHIVE" once completed?
