what is the content of /etc/resolv.conf ? if you are connecting to multiple ISPs but have a static /etc/resolv.conf (one which does not automatically update on a new dialup connetion) then most probably it might be a dns problem.. also can you show the traceroute to google.com (traceroute -n 216.239.37.99) after connecting and paste the output? your routing table is correct (after connecting) and most probably it is a DNS issue. try giving the dns server as 61.0.0.5 (bsnl's nameserver) in pppsetup and connect regards, avati
