Follow-up Comment #2, bug #14093 (project mypaint):
Each stroke is recorded with its brushsettings and its tablet events. If the
brushsettings change in mid-stroke, a) "live update the last canvas stroke"
gets broken (okay, not so tragic) and b) "pick brushsettings from canvas"
feature also records only one brushsetting (not tragic neither, but you would
have to decide which one).
I haven't tried to implement it. There might be more problems and more
reasonable solutions than what I was thinking of.
