Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15147 (project mypaint):
I apologize, but I don't have a setup for compiling Python at this time. Of
course, I could go and set one up just to try - but right now all my
development is in PHP and C#, so I have no real need for the clutter :(.
I'd be more than willing to give a binary (obivously Windows) a swing, if you
can provide one built with the patch from that thread. Going by the intended
use of set_transient_for, I'd say it has a fair chance of fixing the problem.
On the other hand, since the windows do go most of the time, but hang around
some of the time, I'm wondering whether there's not another issue at play.
Somehow the windows might lose "what window they are transient to" or perhaps
the main draw window is no longer identified as the one keeping them up there.
