Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15362 (project mypaint):
Yeah, I agree, capslock is shit, I usually have it mapped to compose. but
just now I didn't, and I had hit it accidentally, without noticing, and it
took me well over 5 minutes to figure out why all my shortcuts weren't
working. I'm pretty sure it'd stump other less technical users much longer.
It's unexpected behaviour, which isn't good.
I can't really see how it could be of benefit as a feature, since it doesn't
increase the number of shortcut keys available. I mean, maybe some mad
shortcut-mapping poweruser might one day find a use for having the same bunch
of keys mapped to two different sets of shortcuts, but seriously, how many
on-canvas shortcuts is mypaint ever going to have?
