Follow-up Comment #7, bug #15838 (project mypaint):
No, they do not go behind the main window when you click the canvas with that
line commented out. All drop-down menus, tooltips, dialog windows, and
preference window correctly sit on top of the tool windows though. Tool
windows no longer sit on top of other windows except the main window, nor do
they sit on top of OSX native app windows anymore. I assume this is the
correct behavior? The only remaining issue is that the GTK color selector
window still sits on top of all other windows, even OSX native windows. I
will go ahead and file a new bug for the issue in comment #4. Thanks for
looking into these issues!
