Follow-up Comment #1, bug #16073 (project mypaint):
First, start MyPaint from commandline. Use help->debug->print brush input
values to stdout. Check if the pressure is what you expect...
Next, see what values xidump or xinput show, and maybe also the kernel tool
wacdump.
Finally, try using the tablet in a different location, to make sure you are
not seeing EMI problems.
And very finally, make sure you are not trying the splatter brushes because
they are supposed to paint without pressure.
