Details:
How to reproduce: Put a brush in the 'favorite' category in the program, then
remove the brush file and restart.
MyPaint crashes at startup with a python error about the missing file.
Deleting the personal mypaint brush config file (so favorites become empty
and the file no longer requested) resolves the problem. This occured after a
recent GIT update where apparently the brush in question (Ramon's Airbrush,
the non-wet one) was removed from the distribution.
