Details:
After losing 15 minutes of work on a large image (saves take 30 seconds), I
realized it would be nice if I didn't lose that work.
I'm sure this has been talked to death someplace, but I just wanted to chip
in my 2 cents.
it seems like every stroke is deterministic, and that with enough meta-data
for each stroke, you could "recreate" a changes from a save point.
the other option would be to have a back-end uncompressed workspace that is
independent of the file being modified; changes are done in real time to it,
and only saved off when the user hits save; if mypaint is killed, the
workspace stays intact.
This is all based on my assumptions of how mypaint works.
