I remember the same request from someone using MyPaint as whiteboard for
lectures. I think it is clear that we should respect the new color if the user
chooses a different one while working with such a brush. But should we restore
the old color when the user selects another brush again that does not use this
feature? I think we probably should do this.
Note: this feature might come in handy once brush blending modes like
"overlay" are implemented, so you can make a "brighten up" preset.
