Works for me with HEAD=master=1ee04f3, but I've had several problems with
cleanup of late while tracking MyPaint. Does making and testing a clean tree,
$ git checkout-index -a -f --prefix=/tmp/mypaint-gna19777/
$ cd /tmp/mypaint-gna19777/
$ scons
$ ./mypaint -c ./dot_mypaint
work for you? If so, go back to your normal working dir, and type
$ git status
to see what's in there that shouldn't be present. Try removing any "Untracked
files" which don't look helpful. If this fixes it, it would be very useful if
you could list the file(s) you needed to remove :-)
My guess is that an old .so file might cause this to happen.
