Follow-up Comment #11, bug #19230 (project mypaint): I've rebased the gtk3 branch against master and merged it back in. It should work correctly in GTK2 mode via our own pygtkcompat.py and lots of local tests, and GTK2 is the default build.
GTK3 mode builds, and you can get some things done. It has quite a few GUI glitches, and will still probably throw exceptions in some of the dustier code paths. However it can be fixed up in master now, and that's where the focus of this work will continue. https://gitorious.org/mypaint/mypaint/commit/e56783825dcf47fdf306dda57e07c98ceea2a422/diffs/2a444257bcbeb59979f53e69dd22c9b3f0667df9 Next job is to move towards phase 3: GTK3 by default. The Windows build folks have flagged this as a potential source of problems for that platform, http://forum.intilinux.com/mypaint-development-and-suggestions/mypaint-for-windows-new-version/msg11081/#msg11081 but hopefully a lengthy (but not *too* lengthy) transition towards full GTK3 would help. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?19230> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Mypaint-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/mypaint-bugs
