This also happens in 1.0.0 actually, but maybe not triggered by the same
events. It only happens after you do something other than painting, e.g.
switch to a different device or panning with the stylus button or similar
(e.g. accidentally move your mouse 1px). It is easier to see when you set the
"smudge" brush setting very high, e.g. to 0.95.
Workaround: before painting, move a bit around without pressure or button
down.
