Hi - a few quick questions:
Is "Linux - Gnome Remix 12.10" just Ubuntu 12.10 running GNOME?
The way we identify devices has changed fairly recently. Is this happening
since the previous PPA release, or something earlier?
Could you paste a "device change:" line from terminal output please when you
try to run mypaint and paint please? We use that name for identification, and
can whitelist it if it _should_ work but doesn't :D
Do you see the device you want to paint with in Help > Debug > GTK Input
Device Dialog, and is is set to Screen? If not, what mode does it come up
with?
And just for completeness the output of "xinput list" (in a terminal, without
quotes...)
