Follow-up Comment #2, bug #20687 (project mypaint):
Gentoo Linux, git master. I still have the offending config dir, I attached it
as a tar'ed file (it's a .mypaint directory, so you probably won't see it
without ls -a after extracting). I'll bisect as soon as I can.
