Cannot reproduce here on Xubuntu 12.10 or on Debian testing/Wheezy. Please can
you let me known what OS you're seeing the error with?
There are two other places where this wiget it used, in some form: the
backgrounds dialog, and the popup brush selector. Can you let me know whether
these suffer from the same problem?
