Ah, not a duplicate. Reopening; see bug #20638 comment #8.
I may have reproduced something like this with the HSV triangle selector too.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start MyPaint
2. Open the colour dropdown in the toolbar, and remember where the
bottom-right corner of the dropdown panel went
3. Draw a blob on the canvas where the bottom-right corner went, or stick your
finger on the screen at that point
4. Keep closing and then re-opening the colour dropdown without making any
selections.
5. *Expected*: dropdown has the same size each time;
6. *Observed*: it keeps growing by a few pixels each time to dropdown is
dropped down.
It doesn't keep growing as described in the title and as indicated in bug
#20638 comment #4. Still this indicates that there's something amiss with the
way our HSV triangle wrapper code, gui.colors.hsvtriangle.HSVTrianglePage
resizes.
