Follow-up Comment #1:
The input dialog is no longer provided by GTK3, so I removed it.
If you can, please compile the GTK3 tablet test application, and see if you
can reproduce your problem with it. See here:

Needless to say, strokes work fine here with GTK3. There must be something
different in your setup compared to mine.
