I'm not set on the name, but I'm not sure "diversity" is much better.
Might have to do some brainstorming to find the right one / the best
one. This should be done before a string freeze.

Yes. I'm hoping this can be communicated through the name and icon of the brush.

If we can find a person to do that job, I think that is a good idea. I
just fear that is not so easy, and we'll have to settle for less.
Meaning that you and I do the main job and request feedback/help on
smaller, more specific things from other interested people.

Yes, the brush sets that are not in shipped by default will be less
accessible. However, if we do a decent job with the defaults, most
users should not miss much. Some will be a bit disappointed that
favorite brush X was removed, we can't avoid that, but I think the
improved usability of the default set is worth it.
We probably won't get it perfect on the first try, but that should not
keep us from improving the current situation.
