I now ran tests/test_performance.py. On my machine around 13% speed-up can be seen in some of the UI-based painting tests: layerpaint_zoomed_out_5x: 1.127923 (13%) paint_zoomed_out_5x: 1.137974 (14%) Martin reported similar results*: layerpaint_zoomed_out_5x: 1.162948 (16%) paint_zoomed_out_5x: 1.176533 (18%) Results for the rest of the tests were unaltered (< +/- 2%). * Calculated from http://maxy.homeip.net/temp/perftest-master-84a458c193ba1cea7b8e79a30b0d9bfcadcd2f9d.txtand http://maxy.homeip.net/temp/perftest-master-surfopt-scons-enable-stuff-plus-env-tuning.txt -- Jon Nordby - www.jonnor.com
