I tested it and the one you propose is still a bit too obstrusive for finding a perfect origin of a thin line. But you were right about the variant with center voided : it's working. And also I agree to be consistent with a set of cursor.
I remixed it to be voided and also rounded with alpha grey pixels for a nice anti-aliasing : http://wstaw.org/m/2012/11/29/cursor_crosshair_open.png ^ This works good for me. 2012/11/29 Andrew Chadwick <[email protected]> > On 28/11/12 22:42, David Revoy wrote: > > On my updates, I found new cursors , and i like them except one : > > mypaint/pixmaps/cursor_crosshair_open.png ; a bit too fat for my taste > > to trace my perspective guide and other task. > > > > So I modified the *.png for this one : > > http://wstaw.org/m/2012/11/28/cursor_crosshair_open.png > > > > And it works for me now, even for really precise work, and on dark or > > bright background. > > ( ex: http://wstaw.org/m/2012/11/28/cross-cursor-in-action.png ) .
