Hi - the next version of MyPaint will likely be 1.2. Are you aware of

I'm not sure we can easily do this with the current workspace layout code
without breaking a lot of widgets, sorry. Patches welcome though, or pull
requests on the github tracker.

I've been experimenting with the GNOME Docking Library recently though - it
does seem to be a lot more stable than when I played with it back in the
PyGTK era, and it seems really nice and flexible, if tricky to set up.
Maybe that would be a nice thing to look at for the next iteration.
