I would suggest we use Digital Ocean for hosting, since it has ready to use backup tools, and can be transferred to another account if needed. If we ask them nicely, they may host for us since we are an open source project. If not it will cost about $10/month to start.
Reddit is a okay alternative, but personally I never liked it, but that just my opinion. As far as functionality, it would serve it fine.
