We have a following urgent requirement with our direct client *Environment and Natural Resources, Department of. * *Job Title: Database Management Services* * * *Description:* The NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources is seeking a short term (estimated at 4-6 months) contractor to work with DENR ITS to support the implementation and administration of databases on SQL Server that meet the business requirements as set by DENR. Software from 3rd party is to be deployed to access the databases on the SQL server that exchanges data with an enterprise ORACLE DSS database. Help is needed to support such an implementation and assume daily DBA tasks on maintaining the SQL Server databases to serve the business needs. *Required Skills: * 1. SQL Server DBA experience is a must; experiences in supporting other RDMS are helpful. 2. Data modeling skills are required. 3. Experiences in data migration and data integration are required. 4. Solid Hands-on SQL coding skills are required. 5. Experience working in hybrid and distributed databases environments is desired. 6. Experience working with customers across teams is required. 7.
