Rate: Open Need Locals Only *Primary Objectives:* · Rapidly deploy Microsoft Windows servers and Linux (SLES and RedHat) servers and on multiple hardware platforms. · Assist with the design and documentation of server deployment processes. · Assist with the design and development of automation tools to leverage server deployment efforts. · Collaborate with technology support teams to identify and set per environment system configuration standards. · Collaborate with system design and support engineers to evaluate new technology solutions. *Qualifications:* *Education* · BA or BS with 5 years experience in related systems engineering and administration experience or equivalent work experience. *Technical Knowledge and Expertise* · Operating Systems: Windows 2003 and 2008, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Red Hat AS Linux · Hardware Platforms: IBM xSeries and BladeCenter, HP BladeSystem, Dell, Sun Fire X4100/4500/4600 · Server Virtualization Technologies: VMWare · Preferable Symantec Altiris Deployment Server administration and support experience.** · Preferable Linux shell scripting experience. *Communication and Soft Skills* · Must be able to work independently with time-sensitive, competing server deployment projects. · Strong communication skills in interacting with engineers and business unit contacts. *Work Experience* · Preferable 5years of Windows and Linux systems administration experience.** * * * * -- Please feel free to reach me for additional information.
