*Position: Remedy Developer* *Location: Columbus, OH* *Duration: 6 Months Contract* *Rate: $45-49/hr (Not Negotiable)* * * Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. Thorough knowledge of Remedy ARS development environment for v7.1 or higher (Remedy API is a plus) Minimum of 4 years Remedy development experience Disciplined approach to Remedy Object identification and configuration control (Version Control) including knowledge of Remedy Migrator (experience with IBM Rational ClearCase is a plus) Ability to translate requirements into a well architected/integrated Remedy solution Working knowledge of the Remedy ITSM 7 suite of applications, such as Problem, Incident, Service Request, Change and Asset management, etc. Experience with AIX/UNIX platforms (IBM DB2 skills are a plus) Experience with web skills - Remedy Mid-tier running on IBM WebSphere Self-starter with ability to get work done independently ITIL Foundation concepts for CMDB, Problem, Incident and Service Request management.
