Position : *GridServer Production Support* Duration *: 6+ months*
Location : NY Description Provide immediate GridServer expertise for clients, support and existing Grid team to dos. Provide 2nd /3rd line production support. Investigate and/or raise tickets to the vendor as required Design and execute a concrete plan to upgrade our environments from GridServer version 4.2 to 5.1, taking into account all of the required dependencies, issues and application needs. Continue the effort of creating a common framework/theme around Credit Suisse developed add-on tooling including monitoring, engine and manager maintenance, and reporting. Work with new and potential client adoptions on design, application integration and implementation 2-Candidate Submittal Limit Qualifications Essential: Expertise with the DataSynapse GridServer product, including installation, Grid management and, application design. Good familiar with windows XP and windows server environments including registry, basic scripting (bat/cmd/perl/svb etc.) and security model Good understanding of distributed computing concepts Proficient with at least one programming language (Java/C++/C#/.Net) Basic competence in usage of the SQL database query language Strong analytical skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Good organizational skills; ability to own, track & prioritize multiple work streams to resolution, escalating when needed Ability to communicate to and train others in DataSynapse and other relevant technologies 5+ years in the IT industry At least 2 years of technical experience with the DataSynapse GridServer product, including installation, Grid management and, application design.
