VbScript and .NET 2.0 technologies with SQL server components to be developed for the database functionality. eRoom, an EMC product, is a web-based collaboration product used to collaborate with external clients. eRoom is deployed under Single Sign On as part of companies’ private extranet. *REQUIREMENT:* Architect, design & develop custom solutions for eRoom platform implemented at company using .Net & ASP technologies. In-depth knowledge of .NET technology – version 2.0 and above required; including, but not limited to, the design, development & implementation of: a) .Net remoting b) Console & web applications c) Implementing security framework using .NET cryptographic libraries d) Webservices e) .NET wrappers for COM f) Classic ASP & Visual Basic 6.0 development using eRoom APIs Experience with implementing IPSec to encrypt server to server communication a plus. Candidate should possess SQL Server (2000 & 2005) strong database design concepts; be experienced in writing complex Stored Procedures; and developing & implementing DTS packages. Candidate should possess eRoom application knowledge with exposure to eRoom customization development. Assign, manage & review development work done by offshore team. Resolve production issues. Work with operations team on code deployments in eRoom environment. Candidate should be a flexible, results-driven team player with excellent oral & written communication skills. Candidate should have experience with offshore team management, as well as issue & risk management & migration.
