Hi.
Note that 3.23.14 (10. Apr 2000) was still considered alpha quality,
so the general suggestion is to upgrade to current 3.23.33 (12. Feb 2001)
release (declared stable). The chances are high that the problem
you encounter has been fixed up meanwhile.
