I think my question wasn't clear. I know that we should usually use the
last version but I also know that we shouldn't use the last version when it
comes out. I also know that sometime new version has bugs. I just would
like to know which version is currently the most stable and bug free ?

I saw many times in your mailing list that we should wait before using a
new version. So what is the best thing to do in that case.

I have a web site running mysql and I just want to be sure that I won't
have any problems when I upgrade.

Note : I think that version 3.23.37 seems to be pretty good because I
didn't see bug report. Is that right ?
