Temporary Upgrade for Cpanel?

I read on the Cpanel.net forum that you can start the 4.0.22 mysql with a --new switch to use it as 4.1.7 so you can see if its compatible with my software.   Is this true and exactly how? Thanks Donny Lairson President http://www.gunmuse.com 469 228 2183
