Hi Ryan, Just making sure : Its not an issue with old style and new style passwords like between version 3.x and 4.1.x ? (I asume you did upgrade from an older version and did run the tables upgrade script ) Soory for the insulting question, but this came straight into my head when I read your question, especially as you said you could set the root password.
