I am interested in feedback, advice from anyone who has changed the AES_BLOCK_SIZE (default 16 bytes, for 128 bit) to 32 bytes, or 256 bit encryption as mentioned on: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Encryption_functions.html
I am only attempting to perform the encryption/decryption routines on BLOB data, due to the variable padding issues required by the block cipher.
Are there any caveats one should worry about? Thx!
