My MySQL server 3.22.32 crashes approx every 12 hours with the following
error message

Warning: setrlimit couldn't increase number of open files to
more than 164
010424 1:10:16 Warning: Changed limits: max_connections: 30 table_cache:
62

I'm running FreeBSD 4.2 . It all started when I copied on top some tables
while Mysql server was running, at that time I didn't know how to proper
stop and start the server.

(BTW, thanks to the people on this list now I know to restart the server
with mysql.server (start|stop) )

Can anyone tell how can I fix this?
My boss is starting to get unpatient and so do I :(
