Hi, Operating System: Debian MySQL Version: 4.0.24
/var/lib/mysql directory, where the MySQL database lives is in the root directory (defaultly installed), and it is currently full. I want to move it in other partition, may be "/usr", and will create a symlink to /var/lib/mysql directory. Is there any known issue, to which i should take care...? or i can go ahead, that will not create any problem to my database. Your quick response is highly appriciated.
