I have a problem using ucase function with russian letters - it's
not work correctly.
i set default-character-set=cp1251, and sorting procedures begin
to work correctly, but not ucase and lcase functions. the version
of the mysql and OS (windows 98 or Windows NT) does not have any
influence.
i set default language /mysql/share/russian
how can a correct this problem? i knew many peoples
who has this error. (on unix systems this problem solved with
compiling mysql --with-character support, but i don't want to
compile server on win)
