Red Hat slow query log

Before I do this, I just wanted to check with you all to see if this  
is the correct command:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld restart --log-slow-queries
If so, where exactly will I find the slow query log?
Will the slow query log be turned off by default next time I restart it?
