Hi there guys, latelly our server is suffering from a very big memory eat
problem, when i start mysql it goes with about 2GB of memory, but about
20h-30h later the server is eating about 8GB, this is a huge problem i know
that some memory variables have an sort of calculation and i think that the
problem is this but i'm not finding where to fix thismy server configuration
is

2x Quad Core Intel® Xeon® E5450, 2x6MB
Cache<http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/showentry.php?courseid=5&concept=Cache>,
3.0GHz, 1333MHz FSB
8GB 800MHz Memory
2x SAS 73GB 15000RPM in RAID 1

I'm Running moodle 1.7.2+ with
MYSQL<http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/showentry.php?courseid=5&concept=MySQL>
5.0.45
and our database size is about 9gb with
PHP<http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/showentry.php?courseid=5&concept=PHP>
 5.1.6

i'll send our my.cnf configuration so anyone who can help please lend me a
hand or a head :D
