Hi!

You can download new InnoDB-3.23.39b source from

http://www.innodb.com

You should first download the MySQL/InnoDB-3.23.39 source
from the MySQL website www.mysql.com and extract it
to form a source tree.

Then extract the files in innodb-3.23.39b.tar.gz into the
/mysql/innobase subtree in the .39 source tree. The files replace
corresponding InnoDB source files in .39. Then recompile.

The new BLOBs are not well tested. They pass

perl run-all-tests --small-test --small-tables --create-options=type=innodb

and a special stress test I wrote. There may be new bugs even
if you do not use big BLOBs because I had to change the
source code in several places.

The release also contains several bug fixes to .39, but none
of the fixed bugs was a common one. The release does not
contain DROP DATABASE or the 'doublewrite' file flush
technique.

Best regards,

Heikki Tuuri
