2.96RH is working very well, thank you - it's was the best compiler
available (performance, bugs, standards compliance) until gcc 3 was
released, which means it's purpose was fulfilled well.
Almost all perceived problems when compiling code with gcc 2.96RH are
due to much stricter requirements on the source code. The same
requirements are there in gcc 3 - broken code won't compile there either.
