I posted a question a couple weeks back and received some half-dozen or so
responses, thankyou. I also bought a mysql/php book, which also has helped.
What I finally came up with (on my own no less) is the following -
printf("<tr><td>* <a href='bulletin_out.php?news_id=$row[news_id]'>%s</a>
%s<br /> %s</td></tr>",
$row["bulletin_subject"], $row["bulletin_date"], $row["bulletin_from1"]);
This is part of a page that pulls dealer bulletins from a database, these being
just a bulletin title(a href link to the id field), date, and summary. Then click on
the link and just the one bulletin is displayed. Cool. I can hardly believe I found
the answer. I just wonder why something so obvious (now that I see it working)
is not in the books, or why none of the suggested answers included this.
Is this not a 'proper' way to do such a link?
