Hi!
I just downloaded the 2.23.41 version of mysql on Solaris 8/Intel/gcc and
installation went well. I can start the mysqld and it works (checked with
mysqladmin status).
The problem is mysql. It reports the following:
#./mysql
ld.so.1: ./mysql: fatal: libcurses.so.5: open failed: No such file or
directory
Killed
#
I found the libcurses.so.5 in /opt/sfw/lib.
Should I set this path in some config files?
I am new to Solaris/Unix (first saw and installed it last weekend), so
please write in details.
