Here's what I'm doing. Appently something is going wrong but I am missing
exactly what.
Any suggestions?

mysql> GRANT USAGE ON *.* TO chimbis@"%" IDENTIFIED BY 'pompeji';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
[root@chimbis src]# mysql -u chimbis -p
Enter password:
ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'chimbis@localhost' (Using password: YES)
[root@chimbis src]#
