PostgreSQL: Unless something has changed in the more recent (i.e. from the
last year) versions, this program completely pukes on large tables, at least
in the way I use them.  It seemed like the insert time would go up O(n).  And
that was with a release that claimed to better support for large tables.  And
with the same indexes that I had been using with Informix and MySQL.
